The Doctor Chat is always open. The Doctor Chat provides quick access to a general practitioner without having to book an appointment and regardless of time and place. You can use the chat to discuss the issue and, for example, send a photo or other file to the expert.
It is possible to open a video connection in the chat at the physician’s recommendation and the customer’s consent. In this case, the appointment is charged as a video appointment with a general practitioner read more.
The service can be used to assess the need for treatment and receive a laboratory referral or prescription. Typical matters that can be handled through this channel include allergy symptoms, urinary tract infections, dermatitis and treatment instructions for previously diagnosed illnesses.
The service is not suitable for treating serious illnesses or prescribing medication such as sleep medication, antipsychotic medication or strong painkillers. Please note that our physicians cannot prescribe antibiotics for conditions such as ear infections or sinusitis through the chat.

The Pediatrician Chat provides a flexible way to contact a pediatric specialist without an appointment, no matter where you are. A pediatrian will answer in chat approximately within 5 minutes.
You can use the chat to discuss your issue and, for example, send a photo or other file to the expert. A pediatrician can help you with many issues remotely: examples of matters that can be handled over the chat include symptoms of infection, allergies, dermatitis, intestinal symptoms, growth monitoring and laboratory tests. The pediatrician can assess the need for treatment and its urgency as well as prescribe necessary examinations and medication over the chat. The service can also be used to provide certificates and referrals to follow-up examinations as necessary. A video connection may also be opened during the chat appointment. In this case, the appointment is charged as a video appointment.
A video connection may also be opened during the chat appointment (the video connection is opened after the chat has been launched). Through the video connection, the pediatrician may examine the child’s breathing, dermatitis or other visible symptoms, for example.
The Pediatrician Chat cannot be used to prescribe antibiotics for respiratory infections because that always requires a medical examination in person. The service is not suitable for treating serious illnesses, but the need for further treatment and its urgency can be assessed over the remote appointment. Some conditions whose acute stage or initial visit cannot be handled over a chat or video appointment may still be followed up on via a remote appointment.
