Terveystalo’s versatile remote services are available regardless of the time and place. You can contact a physician or a nurse immediately through a chat or video. You can also book a video or telephone appointment with the expert of your choice, such as a general practitioner, specialist, psychologist, dietician or physiotherapist. The prices of remote service appointments include Kanta-fee of € 2,30. Chat services’ prices are informed per service. You can find the prices of video appointments and more information about the Kanta-fee in our price list.

Prices for occupational healthcare customers: If the service is included in your occupational health agreement, you will not be charged. To see the remote services included in your occupational health services, open the Terveystalo app or sign in to the Oma Terveys online service.
Prices for private customers: The prices are fixed and include the Kanta-fee EUR 2,30. Price after Kela reimbursement: Monday–Fri from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. EUR 36,30 (EUR 44,30 without Kela reimbursement), weekdays and public holidays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. EUR 46.80 (EUR 54.80). At night from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. EUR 57,80 (EUR 65,80).

The Doctor Chat is always open. The Doctor Chat provides quick access to a general practitioner without having to book an appointment and regardless of time and place. You can use the chat to discuss the issue and, for example, send a photo or other file to the expert.

It is possible to open a video connection in the chat at the physician’s recommendation and the customer’s consent. In this case, the appointment is charged as a video appointment with a general practitioner read more.

The service can be used to assess the need for treatment and receive a laboratory referral or prescription. Typical matters that can be handled through this channel include allergy symptoms, urinary tract infections, dermatitis and treatment instructions for previously diagnosed illnesses.

The service is not suitable for treating serious illnesses or prescribing medication such as sleep medication, antipsychotic medication or strong painkillers. Please note that our physicians cannot prescribe antibiotics for conditions such as ear infections or sinusitis through the chat.

THE PEDIATRICIAN CHAT   NO BOOKING REQUIRED!

Contact a pediatrician through a chat or video connection without booking an appointment. Available every day between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Prices for private customers: The prices are fixed and include the Kanta-fee EUR 2,30. Prices for chat appointments after Kela reimbursement: weekdays EUR 61.30 (EUR 73.30 without Kela reimbursement), Saturdays EUR 79.30 (EUR 91.30) and Sundays EUR 95,30 (EUR 107,30). Prices for video appointments after Kela reimbursement: weekdays EUR 84,30 for 10 minutes (EUR 96,30 without Kela reimbursement), EUR 107.30 for 20 minutes (EUR 119.30) and EUR 125,30 for 30 minutes (EUR 137,30). Additional fees will be applied on weekends in accordance with the price list.

Instructions: The service is open every day between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Open the Terveystalo application and select Remote Services or log in to the Oma Terveys online service and open the Pediatrician chat.

The Pediatrician Chat provides a flexible way to contact a pediatric specialist without an appointment, no matter where you are. A pediatrian will answer in chat approximately within 5 minutes.

You can use the chat to discuss your issue and, for example, send a photo or other file to the expert. A pediatrician can help you with many issues remotely: examples of matters that can be handled over the chat include symptoms of infection, allergies, dermatitis, intestinal symptoms, growth monitoring and laboratory tests. The pediatrician can assess the need for treatment and its urgency as well as prescribe necessary examinations and medication over the chat. The service can also be used to provide certificates and referrals to follow-up examinations as necessary. A video connection may also be opened during the chat appointment. In this case, the appointment is charged as a video appointment.

A video connection may also be opened during the chat appointment (the video connection is opened after the chat has been launched). Through the video connection, the pediatrician may examine the child’s breathing, dermatitis or other visible symptoms, for example. 

The Pediatrician Chat cannot be used to prescribe antibiotics for respiratory infections because that always requires a medical examination in person. The service is not suitable for treating serious illnesses, but the need for further treatment and its urgency can be assessed over the remote appointment. Some conditions whose acute stage or initial visit cannot be handled over a chat or video appointment may still be followed up on via a remote appointment.

Mielen chat   NO BOOKING REQUIRED!

Mielen Chat and Mielen Sparri for your mental well-being. For occupational healthcare customers only.
Prices for occupational healthcare customers: If the service is included in your occupational health agreement, you will not be charged. Mielen Chat and Mielen Sparri are low-threshold services offered by your employer to support your mental well-being. The service is strictly confidential, and information about users is not disclosed to the employer or the occupational health services.

In the Mielen Chat service, a nurse evaluates your situation and schedules an appointment for the sparring service or with a physician, if necessary. A Mielen Chat session takes about 15 minutes and the chat is open around the clock every day.

Mielen Sparri provides an opportunity to discuss any issues on your mind – no matter how big or small – with a mental well-being specialist. And you don’t even have to get up from your home sofa because the service is available via video appointments. The service offers 1-5 discussions to strengthen your resources and provides tools to support your mental well-being. One session takes about 45 minutes.

RENEWAL OF A PRESCRIPTION    NO BOOKING REQUIRED!

An easy way to renew up to three prescriptions at a time over the chat without booking an appointment. Available between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekends. An electronic prescription is forwarded to a pharmacy, and you can collect your medicine from a pharmacy of your choice right away.

Prices for private customers: The prices are fixed. Prices after Kela reimbursement: weekdays EUR 22,30 (EUR 30,30 without Kela reimbursement), Saturdays EUR 29,30 (EUR 37,30) and Sundays EUR 36,30 (EUR 44,30).

The service can be used to renew up to three prescriptions at a time per customer. All you need to do is send a message specifying the prescriptions you need renewed and your doctor will contact you if further information is required.

The service cannot be used to renew sleep medication, antipsychotic medication, strong painkillers or antibiotics.

Within this service you can get a referral to a coronavirus test at Terveystalo as our chatbot Terveysbotti collects your information for an expert's verification. Directly after the chat with Terveysbotti you can book an appointment to the test which can take place 30 minutes after the chat at the earliest. The service currently only available for adults with corona infection symptoms.

Guidance and counseling from a nurse via a chat. Available around the clock, every day of the year.

The Nurse Chat is always open. The Nurse Chat provides a quick way to contact a nurse without an appointment and regardless of time and place. Through the nurse chat, you can get help and advice in questions related to, for example, acute respiratory diseases, stomach ailments, allergy symptoms and vaccinations.

The service can be used to get guidance and assistance related to, for example, acute respiratory diseases, stomach ailments, allergy symptoms, and vaccinations. The nurse assesses your need for treatment and provides home care instructions or refers you to the correct specialist or the Doctor Chat if your symptoms need to be assessed by a physician.

The service is not suitable for renewing prescriptions.

MESSAGES TO EXPERTS

For non-urgent contact with your company’s occupational healthcare team. For occupational healthcare customers only.
Prices for occupational healthcare customers: The service is for all occupational healthcare customers, you will not be charged. You can view the remote services included in your occupational health services by opening the Terveystalo application or signing in to the Oma Terveys online service.

Terveystalo’s Messages to Experts service gives you a way of contacting your company’s occupational healthcare team in non-urgent matters – regardless of time and place.

The service is suitable for going over test results, receiving help with using occupational health services and requesting referrals to other experts within the scope of your occupational healthcare agreement. An occupational healthcare expert will respond to your message within a few work days.

GENERAL PRACTITIONER’S VIDEO APPOINTMENT    NO BOOKING REQUIRED!

A video connection with a general practitioner without booking an appointment. Available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. During the closing hours of the general practitioner’s video appointment you can use the Doctor Chat 24/7.
Prices for occupational healthcare customers:If the service is included in your occupational health agreement, you will not be charged. You can view the remote services included in your occupational health services by logging in to Oma Terveys.
Kela reimbursement: Yes, the service is reimbursed by Kela.   
Instructions: The service is open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Open the Terveystalo application and select Remote Services or log in to the Oma Terveys online service and open the service. If the video connection cannot be launched, the appointment is conducted and charged as a regular Doctor Chat visit.

The general practitioner’s video appointment provides quick access to a general practitioner from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekends. During the closing hours of the video appointment you can use the Doctor Chat 24/7. Please test your video connection on our test page before the appointment.

TRAVELLERS COVID-19 TESTING

Prices for private customers: Referral EUR 20 and Certificate starting from EUR 20
Kela reimbursement: The service is not reimbursed by Kela.  
Instructions: Whether you are departing or returning to Finland, you cah chat with a nurse familiar to travellers need regarding Covid-19 testing and related certificates. In this service you can get a referral to tests (PCR and antibody), instructions to timing and the applicable Covid-19 certificate - either a digital or a printed one. Tests and certificates will be charged according the pricelist and are not included in the chat price presented.

Please note, that it is always the customers responsibility to keep up-to-date on the information regarding travelrestrictions and the compliance of Covid-19 certificates. Travel requirements change quite often, see the latest information from IATA website. Terveystalo is not responsible on the accuracy of travel requirements or eventual changes in travel arrangements or costs incurred due to any changes incurring or caused as a result of these changes

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS PAYING FOR REMOTE SERVICES EASY?

Yes. If the service is included in your occupational health agreement, you will not be charged. Private customers will receive an invoice after their visit in the Terveystalo application. You will be notified of the invoice by e-mail. The invoice must be paid within three days of arrival. In order to use Terveystalo’s remote services as a private customer, you have to activate mobile payment in the Terveystalo application before your remote appointment.

HOW CAN I USE TERVEYSTALO’S REMOTE SERVICES?

In order to use Terveystalo’s remote services, you need to register with the Oma Terveys service. You can use the service through the Terveystalo application or the Oma Terveys website.
